carey mulligan kicks off cannes 2013 in a killer balenciaga jumpsuit and a beautifully simple dior gown. (having leo on her arm doesn’t hurt the look either.) 

the first legit collab (ahem, kate young does NOT count) that canadians can get in on. i could not think of a better one to begin with. SO EXCITED. 

i always love the met gala red carpet. we always see the most interesting fashion choices and people are willing to take risks. i think this year’s punk theme got some people confused though. a lot of people either didn’t think about the theme or took it way too far…or they wore pants under a dress and too much eye makeup. i thought that these five killed it though. sienna miller and cara delevingne rocked the studs in burberry. emma watson and carey mulligan wore black cutout dresses the right way in prabal gurung and balenciaga. and finally, rooney mara stunned in a white givenchy dress. 

im not even going to do a worst dressed post because it would take too long. i was particularly disappointed with my stand-bys, kate bosworth and diane kruger, though. noooot impressed.
